Aiming For A Stronger Partnership With The ACM

I have always believed in the ACM India Council and have been a member since 1987. I have subscribed to their digital library and read the communications of the ACM and ACM SIGMOD records on a regular basis.
It would be good if we could establish a strong presence for ACM in India.
In the last few years, the Indian software industry has done well to focus on processes and scaling large teams. Over the next ten years, we must increase our focus on sharpening our technical skills. I am making a presentation on how the Indian industry can benefit from a tighter partnership with the ACM.
I am about to leave for Bangalore in some time to attend the ACM India Council meeting. Looking forward to it.
